I say Breaston is number 5 because he's a veteran. I guess we will see soon enough.

Just throwing out that Meachem could possibly be cut. The new regime in SD didn't sign him and he was perhaps the biggest FA bust last year. That would be an easy fit for the deep threat guy.Would be cheap too...

CBSSports.com's Clark Judge reported Meachem's $14 million in guarantees might keep him on the roster, but "people close to the club told me they're convinced he won't be a factor."
The team loves Vincent Brown, while Malcom Floyd, Danario Alexander and Eddie Royal were more productive than Meachem in offseason practices. Throw in tight end Antonio Gates and pass-catching back Danny Woodhead, and it's hard to see where Meachem fits in. We wouldn't be surprised if the new regime washes its hands of him.

Breaston is no given to me. He has to prove himself. He visited with several teams with no signing- likely from the knee issues. Wasn't signed by Pittsburgh with his ex-HC Haley the OC there now. He was a healthy scratch most of the last half of 2012- and KC was desperate for WRs.

Preston Parker, 26, might be the truest slot receiver of the bunch, He has PR/KR experience too. In 2011, 5 catches for 88yds, 1 TD vs. the Saints.
