Patterson jump to conclusions without knowing if Hill will be suspended or not.
100% and now he needs to own it. However, somehow the media has jumped to his side. But that shouldnt be a surprise.

Just one writers opinion. For a school that has only about 8,000 students, #32 ain't all that shabby. I do COMPLETELY disagree w/ this dude that said we take a back seat to Tech in regards to in-state coaching jobs. Who in their right mind would ever want to spend any time in (much less live in) Lubbock?

yeah much rather tcu over tech. tcu is a good gig.

he's sort of like your coach in that sense huh.

How many players on his team were in trouble for drugs last year? We kicked our heisman candidate off the team last year, he is allowing his QB back on the field after his issues. No room to scrutinize Les for this action.

Patterson is a hypocrite! If it were up to him Fields would be playing against LSU. HE DIDN"T SUSPEND HIM!!!

"I don't know," he said. "I don't think so. He's doing everything he has to. He's been embarrassed quite a bit for three months. That's one of the reasons I did it, so I could change him. It's really not my call."
quote:
Now, when asked about the subject of Fields playing, Gary says both "I don't know" and "It's really not my call." This says two things to me: #1, that Gary believes Fields may have learned his lesson and #2, Gary believes the school can make the final call in Fields ability to play and if he is allowed to play by TCU, that may just be the out Gary needs to allow Fields back on the team.

Old SEC and Free Shoes University trick. Disrupt recruiting. Make your opponent appear "out of control".

Well I would have to say GP is a much more eloquent speaker than LM, although I love them both.
But feel free to go ahead and quote where GP failed to be able to read or lied.

sure thing. i said "sort of like" your coach. because he's not perpetuating a lie per se, moreso just utter BS.
quote:
“I'm sure if it was some opponent they'd beat by 100 points [the players] wouldn't have a vote," Patterson said.
that's such a joke arse statement i cant even begin to wrap my head around it. player voting was implemented by saban here over a decade ago. your coach comes across like a buffoon when he says stuff like that.

Fields had alcohol in his dorm room, he didn't go out and suckerpunch someone, after previously being found guilty of statutory rape!

i just read the article in the original thread. jesus the media is dumb. who sees the mistake?
quote:
It was announced on Tuesday that Hill had been reinstated to the team and would return to practice immediately and not face a suspension after violating his probation when he was arrested for battery following an incident when Hill punched a man at a bar.
