Gannett is the parent company for many local newspapers...in addition to owning USA Today. Daily Advertiser in Lafayette and Shreveport Times are Gannett papers. Guilbeau is employed by them, which is why his article is syndicated in all Louisiana Gannett owned papers and if there is an LSU national story will likely be seen in USA Today. Gannett isn't married to this tool. If they felt they'd be better off without him, they'd drop him.

Please don't do that. Most people don't follow this and are not placing ads with this in mind. I, as a buyer and an LSU fan, happen to be in a position to know how badly most LSU fans fricking hate this guy, and refuse to place client ads in papers designed to get LSU readership because I think they turn to venues that do not choose to use Guilbeau as their guy, and because I don't want clients of mine associated with shitty articles that are openly anti-LSU.
