This whole deal is horrible. Hill is caught on tape sucker punching some guy who is drunk. He gets nothing from the deal. This kid needs to file a law suit against Hill and any future earnings he gets. I am a very big LSU fan and bleed purple and gold, but this is ridiculous. Are we the New University of Miami? Thug University.

Didn't Hill already have to pay restitution? What additional damage did he cause the kid to warrant further compensation? It looked like the second dude who is not affiliated with the school did more damage than Hill. You sound very emotional.

I talked to Hill immediately after the "fight". The guy was not remorseful at all and wanted to blame the whole thing on someone else. He claimed he never did anything wrong. After the video came out, he may have changed his story, but he initially denied the accusations.

Let's look at his actions.
At LSU: he threw a punch in a parking lot fight.
As a senior in high school: he took a BJ offered to him from a freshmen in high school.
Both of those were things he shouldn't have done, but neither were terrible, unexplainable mistakes for which he needs to go to jail or be kicked off the team or miss three to four games.
I'm not defending his actions, but I'm not going to over react to them either.
He could play for Alabama or Florida and I would feel the same.

Why'd you talk to Hill right after the fight? You have an agenda against him. Hopefully he knows who you are and hires someone to take you out.

Or, we got to see the tail-end of an altercation which clearly had been going on for a while given the "victim's" torn clothing. Reports after were that the "victim" had brought this on himself and was known for instigating fights. So...while it's true we see Hill run around him and punch him in the face, only an idiot (or someone with an agenda) would pretend that was the entirety of the fight. Makes you wonder why we have not seen more of the video, doesn't it?

He got an ADDITIONAL 2 years probation and is now essentially locked down for anything other than school an football. Given that most college students would never have even been arrested for this (because it's unlikely anyone would have been pointing a camera at them) I find it funny you suggest he got nothing form the deal.

While I certainly don't condone this behavior did you srutinize the altercation Wing was involved in that year or T-Bob, and Mett had some off-field issue that was resolved legally and now are you still not rooting for him either?

What about fights in practice? Suspension?
What about fights that coaches instigate in practice (this is done all the time during a bad practice)?
Anyone else would be give a ticket but we have to somehow punish this kid and continually bring up a transgression of years ago.
I can hear Verne now reminding everyone that Hill screwed a 14 year old in high school...
This is a poot not a hurricane....
