Gordon just got back from representing the NBA and the Pelicans in the Philippines with James Harden. I would say that is a public presence.

meh. he's away for rehab, can't do anything with the actual organization and fans, rehabbing, yet he's sent to gorilla manila.

Representing the league to people who never heard of you is very different than representing to the team to locals who think you're an overpaid malcontent.
