IMO, I don't think that's debateable, you're right....I think the problem with blacks using the word, or believing it's acceptable only to be used by them, is that it just perpetuates the problems they want to get rid of. If you take a look around here, you'll see countless posts justifying the usage of the word by saying, "well black people use it all the time". I think the black community refraining from using the word in general would be more productive than going the "it's okay as long as it's me doing it" route
