Baseball is a game of streaks.
Taking away wins always makes your record worse...There are concerns, but this is not one of them. If the Nats went on a few more winning streaks, then they would be ahead of the Braves. Starting your opinions with "if" is never a good idea.
Show some teams who have been streaky and failed in the playoffs and I'll show you some that have won it all.
