That was the peak of my excitement for our d last season.
My peak was against SD.
We looked like world-beaters against that dumpster fire of a team.

Wilson beat that gimp tackle of theirs to sack/fumble Rivers.
When will we learn to wait for at least 3 consecutive weeks of production before we declare things have turned around?

But our NASCAR package looked awesome against them.

We are Saints fans. We are the best ever / worst ever on a play by play basis.

This made me lol.

S Malcolm Jenkins came up with an interception on a pass that Brees was trying to fit into a small hole for Moore. When asked after practice about it, Jenkins said, "It's a catch until someone tells me otherwise. There's not instant replay out here."

METAIRIE, La. — Saints linebacker Martez Wilson went down with a left elbow injury Monday late during 11-on-11 drills, thinning a position that already was hit with the loss of Victor Butler in organized team activities.
“Right now we’ll see where he’s at,” Saints coach Sean Payton said. “The next guy would be up. I don’t anticipate it being a real significant injury.”
Wilson had been working with the second-team at strong side outside linebacker. With him possibly out for at least the short term, the next man up could be either third-year player Baraka Atkins or rookie Rufus Johnson.
Wilson has been working behind Junior Galette in the new 3-4 defense, occasionally taking first-team snaps as new coordinator Rob Ryan installs the system.
The position likely would have been Butler’s, but in the final week of OTA’s, he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Linebacker Curtis Lofton sat out most of practice, though Payton gave no reason why. Ramon Humber and Chris Chamberlain both took repetitions with the first team in his place.
Meanwhile, receiver Saalim Hakim went into the training room with cramps.
The PUP list players remained the same, with receiver Marques Colston (foot), Butler and cornerback Patrick Robinson (right knee) sitting out for the fourth-straight practice.
Receiver Jarred Fayson (dehydration) still hasn’t practiced and linebacker Ray Shipman (hamstring) missed practice for the first time this training camp.

There's also a new player - No 19 - out there. Not sure who he is or he replaced just yet.

A few things I noticed from being out there yesterday:
-Ingram definitely looks lighter. Hopefully that translates to production on the field.
-Nick Toon looked pretty damn good. Built like a TE, plays like a WR. Runs fluid routes, soft hands.
-Saw a few packages with Vaccaro, Jenkins, and Harper all on field at the same time. I think we'll see a lot of Vaccaro this year.
There were a few other things, but I'm having trouble remembering. If I do, I'll add it to this post.

Kenny Stills also with the first team with walkthroughs. First time to my knowledge that Stills has done this.

Look, here goes. Roman Harper, while not listed as a linebacker, can most certainly shift down in a package to play the position if it really comes down to it. He excels near the line of scrimmage anyway. Am I missing something?
Butler and Wilson being hurt sucks, but I think getting Roman Harper to at least disguise himself in that role can work.
Why are you so retarded, AJF? Well, because I'm terrified.

Not surprising. These guys reporting on the team are clueless.

Trying to avoid Ingram's beast mode no doubt.
