Do you mean the same Les that has engineered the best winning run in LSU history?
That Les?

agree, the control freak will fill the giant void of attention to detail that is in Les Miles approach to football.

Which you know as a result of all of the planning meetings and practice sessions you have attended?

Correct. The Ravens actually averaged MORE points per game last season prior to Cam's departure than after....

People hoping for an offensive overhaul are going to be disappointed

Anybody with a brain knows ball control will always be a primary aim of any Les Miles football team.

People should be looking for a 3rd-down conversion and resulting points on the board overhaul. That is what is needed.

I've never been comfortable with this whole scenario from Day 1. The guy was fired in mid-season. The Ravens probably wouldn't have won the SB if he had remained their OC. This alone bothers me. On the other hand, can't be any worse than last year's OC. Bottom line, it's CLM whom we should be concerned about as a control freak.

No coach has ever been fired for being a control freak. That's just silly to even think that. That's like believing a coach got fired because he yells.

Cameron got canned for one reason and one reason only: he had a terrible relationship with the team's starting QB, and there's not an NFL team that will side with its OC over its star QB in a battle of personalities. People forget just how f'n terrible the Ravens offense was before Cameron got there, and he put together a pretty good unit. Eventually, a personality conflict with the franchise gravy train cost him his job. I have a hunch that if he has a personality conflict with Mettenberger, the outcome would be different at a college.

Execution was the primary problem last year, and THAT'S what Cam was brought in to correct.

Whoa!

The scheme is what needs to be fixed. LSU has the most bland, unimaginative, stale, predictable offense in CFB. Opposing players and coaches say its not hard to defend because they know what's coming.

When was the last time you saw misdirection, a simple drag route or anything resembling an effective play mix?

We don't move the chains, we aren't generating big gains and we have too many 3 and outs.

Plus recruits don't want to play in the shitty boring offense we've had recently. Cam's pedigree and the promise of a new offense is what may be attracting interest now.
