The last time my local fire department did a Bbq dinner sale my sister went through all the boxes and took all the slices of white bread home before I got there. That white bread that has been moistened with smoky greatness is one of the perks of a BBQ plate lunch. I usually take a piece of the pork steak and some BBQ sauce and make a sandwich with it then eat the rest normally. If I didn't love her and know that bread was going to my nephews I would have been beyond pissed. Honestly I was still disappointed but I made do.

Personally for me anything but plain white bread interferes with the BBQ. I don't want anything competing with the Q. Same goes with BBQ Sauce. Why put smoke flavoring in the sauce when you're taking a lot of time to choose different types of wood to smoke with, but hey that's my 2 cents.

I hope Oprah doesn't eat BBQ because it would be racist to serve white bread.
