plus he didn't run good routes, get separation or have good hands but that is no reason why we should not have used him more. He was a great talent with a great head for football on his shoulders. Shepard, along with Lee (marino clone), and also Holiday (DE potiential great) would have been unstoppable. Imagine first play of the Bama game: "Lee to Shepard TOUCHDOWN!. second play "Lee to Holiday TOUCHDOWN!!" What could have been. Oh well.

agree, that's what I told my high school coach about me every week...made no sense
