Just look at Boise State/Georgia in 2011. Or LSU/Clemson 7 months ago...

Yea, both of those scenarios involved a bigger team that was disappointed to be there along with a smaller/less talented program that was ecstatic to be there. One had to win the game with a field goal with no time left, and the other one had to execute a slew of improbable trick plays to have a chance. This is the first game of the season and LSU will finally be able to hit someone other than themselves in practice. Both teams will be hungry. But yea, any team can get up for a single game.

Boise St./Georgia was the first game of the season a couple years ago, and I don't remember a slew of trick plays being involved. You're thinking BSU/Oklahoma.

Unbelievable! I didn't watch the Boise State game, but they blew Georgia out. Boise State led by 3 touchdowns twice. Also, how could Georgia not want to be there when this was a regular season game? You think Georgia likes to play teams that are less respectable than Boise State?

It's as if some of you live in a different universe. That Boise team would have beaten that UGA team 10 out of 10 times. They fvcking ripped UGA's dicks off and fed them to their mothers.

If you followed college football you'd know that every member from that Boise DL is now in the NFL and they had the best run defense in the nation that year. They slaughtered UGA, zero fluke.

Boise State/Georgia was the Chick-Fil-A kickoff game week 1...
