It's a mediocre name and all of this 'state connection' and 'ecological' rhetoric is just a sloppy paint job to cover that Benson didn't want to spend another million or so acquiring the Voodoo brand from the AFL.

IDK, Voodoo sounds more like WNBA than NBA. But it also works well for the AFL.

LOL, you sir haven't even kind of been paying attention. Benson will spend the money and let the team go over the cap (not the tax), but he won't pay $1 million for a team name? Good call.

From what I was told, Benson did want Voodoo. The rest of this isnt really true.
