Great point.



You mean like how Xbone was going to control used games sales with licensing thus enabling developers to get a cut of second and third party sales?

Microsoft and Sony should just charge $5 less for digital games than their used physical counterparts. For instance if Halo 5 comes out and after a couple of months Gamestop is charging $49.99 for a used copy then just charge $5 less for digital. Also set up some sort of rewards system for buying digital copies. I just think there are ways to counter Gamestop but it's just not being done.

Correct me If am wrong, but wasn't the original strategy to completely eliminate used game sales by going all DD?

But that is penalizing customers and denying them what they want.
