Mett is our guy. Only way another QB sees the field taking meaningful snaps this year in my opinion is if Mett gets hurt, or if Jennings is so dynamic with his legs that they get him on the field in some packages (ala Perriloux).
If Rivers was the best QB he would be starting. Let's not start calling for the backup already. Mett having a bad outing does not mean he isn't our best option at QB.

I can imagine a scenario where Mett is pulled from the starting job for performance reasons, but it far more likely that the coaching staff will simply stop asking him to make the throws that are too difficult for him.
