My best guess at game times and TV for 2013

The times and networks are starting to come together with a few blanks left to fill in. We already know we get another prime time matchup with Bama but unfortunately it looks like we won't host A&M on Saturday night in Death Valley. Based on history and other games on the same days, here's what I came up with. Games that are already set are in bold text
August 31, vs TCU 8:00 ESPN
September 7, vs UAB 6:00 ESPNU
September 14, vs Kent St 6:00 ESPN or ESPN2
September 21, vs Auburn 6:00 or 7:00 ESPN
~Florida/Tennessee is the same day and that game is almost always picked up by CBS. Auburn and LSU has often been an evening game on the ESPN networks.
September 28, @ Georgia 2:30 CBS
~This game is by far the best SEC match up of the day. Two likely top 15 even top 10 teams. Probably a no brainier for CBS.
October 5, @ Mississippi State 6:00 ESPN
~This one is usually an ESPN game. Just pray it doesn't get picked up for the SEC Network 11 am start.
October 12, vs. Florida 2:30 CBS
~Again, this one is probably the best matchup of the day. Other SEC games include: South Carolina @ Arkansas, Mizzou @ Georgia, A&M @ Ole Miss, Alabama @ Kentucky. CBS usually picks up UF/LSU
October 19, @ Ole Miss 6 or 7 ESPN/ESPN2
~CBS does sometimes pick this one up regardless of teams records but I doubt they go LSU on back to back weeks. Expect an ESPN game.
October 26, vs Furman 7:00 PPV
~Good luck trying to find a major network wanting to air this one. Is this the last year of Tiger Vision and their 1993 broadcast quality?
November 9, @ Alabama 7:00 CBS
November 23, vs. Texas A&M 2:30 CBS
~I think both sides really wanted A&M's first trip to Death Valley in years to be a night game. But the other SEC match ups that day are garbage. I'm all but certain this one will be at 2:30.
November 29, vs. Arkansas 2:30 CBS
We generally have 4 or 5 CBS games per season, so my predictions here fall in line with that. Look good for a tentative schedule?
Almost forgot
December 7, vs TBA 3:00 CBS (Atlanta, GA)
January 6, vs TBA 7:30 ESPN (Pasadena, CA)
August 31, vs TCU 8:00 ESPN
September 7, vs UAB 6:00 ESPNU

Your guess is as good as mine with this one. I know TigerVision is going away with the launch of the 24 hr SEC Network but that doesn't come till next year. So I think we have crappy TigerVision for one more year.

good point. I think this is spot on and can't really argue with it.
one more PPV game... fricking furman

I normally find my way to a bar or Wild Wings for the Tigervision games. I won't pay $34.50 for a broadcast filmed with a potato.

Tennessee probably loses to Oregon the week before the Florida game. Idk if CBS will want to pick them coming off a loss. Also, Auburn might be unbeaten. They play MSU the week before at home.

They are only 13 or 14 games per year and we party for each and every one of them. Its a nobrainer to fork up 34 dollars for 1 game. Gets some friends, split the cost and enjoy it from your the comforts of your home..frick watching Tiger games at a bar with clueless fans.

Ole Miss will be a CBS day game - they do a doubleheader that day at 11am and 2 30pm. There is a slight chance that CBS obsessed with Johnny Mania picks A&M at Ole Miss instead of Florida at LSU (esp if Fla loses at Miami or Ole Miss upsets Texas)

It's admittedly a long shot, but if LSU and TAMU are both top 5 coming out of their 11/9 games, we may see another deal w CBS like 2011.
Agree that fans on both sides would LOVE this to be a night game.

I was thinking the same thing about the ole miss tamu game.....if ole miss can hold off choking till the end of the year CBS may pick up that game.......and we would get Florida at night......

WHY??????????

Why does CBS not have a primetime game every week? Does ABC/ESPN have some type deal preventing CBS from doing so? I'm assuming a college football game would bring in higher ratings than a rerun of one of the CSI's.

Great job. If true, we get 1 SEC night game at home...

My best guess is to keep the "best games of the day" from competing with one another. CBS and ABC don't want to go head to head and lose viewers.

Hogs @ 1:30; since showing all CT.
Other then that looks pretty good projection. Hoping some of these scenarios other posters saying can happen though not likely would love UF and especially A&M under the big lights!

If both teams run the table to this point, I don't know why they wouldn't make it primetime if they can somehow. Johnny Heisman coming into the toughest (night) environment in the country as the likely #1 overall team. playing against the likely #2 team that beat them last year. This would be bigger than Bama 2011 (because of Johnny Heisman), and likely set the table for the SEC west champion and SECCG/BCSNC favorite.
It would not do justice to CFB fans to play that type of game during the day.
Anyhow,
