I'm not sure if it was the best of both series but it's easily the best episode of Korra and it's close to the best period. I would have been happy with a mini-season of episodes about Wan to bridge between books one and two.

Yeah Wan was an awesome character. Fits perfectly as the 1st Avatar. He made me actually care about him unlike Korra....bitch
