People who hyped him up to be the Mettsiah are a huge problem on this board.

I'm just being realistic. He's a solid QB with potential, but I'm not going to act like he's the second coming of Payton Manning.

Seems like a bunch of fans last season were bigger fans of Mett than the team as a whole. That's some fricked up shite as well. Like I said, everybody deserves equal criticism or respect. I don't blame Mett for everything, nor do I blame others.

I want him to do well, but I also know that he doesn't have to be the mettsiah for LSU to win a national championship.

were they not dropping balls that hit them in good places? Were they helping out Mett?

Hell, our receivers cost us the UF game IMO. That fumble was a great pass by Mett that reversed field position

He's the QB at the 2nd best program in the country. He's going to get hype. Excitement is never a bad thing, handling expectations is the job of Les Miles and Mett
