not really. may would be a hypocrite if he was currently doing the same things. telling someone not to do something because you have past experience doing similar things and you understand how stupid it was does not make one a hypocrite.
You are wrong. May was speaking from a high horse.
It would be one thing if he said..."take it from me, who did similar things when I was your age..."
That's not what happened. May was arrested for far worse things at the age of 20. And then continued to make repetitive bad decision (back to to back DUIs) as a grown man in the NFL.

One could argue that his conduct merits stripping him of the Heisman...
This is part of the absurdity.
His only misconduct was before the 2012 season when he was arrested. I can understand the argument saying he shouldn't have won the Heisman because of that.
But ever since winning the Heisman, he hasn't done jack s*** to cause any issue.
Things he's been scrutinized for:
- Celebrating his Cotton Bowl win with his mom
- Going to pro sports games
- Playing golf at Pebble Beach with his mom & dad
- Going to a concert
- Tweeting that he was frustrated with College Station because of a parking ticket (If you've ever dealt with CSPD, you'd understand)
- Missing a morning meeting at an event that he volunteered at.
Wow. Now there's a solid basis for stripping a Heisman.

I don't understand what everyone's problem is with this kid. Hell, back when I was in college I was doing what every college kid should be doing, diving in and out of bars and painting the town red.
I get that he has much more responsibility than your normal college kid, but at the end of the day he's only hurting his draft stock.... so if he doesn't care, why should we care? The kids living the life, in my opinion at least.
