Peyton came out during an era where you would have been an idiot to even consider LSU if you were a blue chip.
Eli was not an elite prospect coming out of high school. I believe he was a consensus three star. I don't even think he was a top 20 QB in his recruiting class. Acting like he "snubbed" LSU is revisionist history. He was an Ole Miss lock because they hired Cutcliffe, not because he was a legacy.
