Colvin got $900,000, damn good money. What got everyone all upset was he was on campus for freshman orientation so assumptions were made that he was coming to school. Great negotiating tactic by Colvin.
Cecchini initially asked for 1.75 mil and got 1.3, so I guess he got way less than what he was asking for but can you blame the guy?

After taxes Longhi will have approx. $300K, that's not exactly a life altering amount of money.

I agree with what someone else said, this shows this kid was never serious about school, he only signed with LSU in an attempt to drive up the signing bonus. The Red Sox called his bluff and got him on the cheap.

I wish his HS coaches (former LSU players) would have told him not to use LSU in this way.
