True. Three years would be better you are able to develop multi year rivalries. The excitement generated by those rivalries follow the primary contributors to the NBA. Duke v UNLV, Duke v Fab 5, Georgetown v Syracuse, LSU v LMU.
We know who played in those games after all of these years. You cannot buy that sort of name recognition.
