Per a lot of people, including ESPN's Marc Stein (who was in the midst of a bunch of NBA moves).

I think Jozy will do very well at Sunderland. He will be first choice striker and has a decent supporting cast around him. I think he will be a double digit goal scorer this year in the EPL.

I have to think it is a good move. It is time for Jozy to take his game to the next level and Sunderland are in need of a guy up front.

Nice. Excited to see him play.

Can't say I have seen Sunderland play that often, but they will be on every weekend with the new NBC coverage. I'm just glad I get to see another American striker on a weekly basis.

Any idea what the figure was for bid #2?

Not sure how I feel about this move. He can have success in England, but I don't know if Sunderland will create enough chances for him.

I like the move. It will afford him the opportunity to see quality defenses going into the WC. His scoring will for sure slow down but what he did last season was unprecedented anyway.

This move makes me nervous. I don't doubt Jozy's abilities, only Sunderland's

No doubt he will have to finish his chances because he may not get too many.
Is Sessegnon still there? He is a decent attacking player.

Depends a lot on what sort of moves they've made/will make. They should try to hold onto Sessegnon. I'm not a fan of Adam Johnson or James McLean though. I know they've made three or four signings already but I'm not really familiar with any of them.

I really hope Sunderland's fans don't get all European and think their American owner is doing this based on wanting to expand the fanbase to America or fandom etc. instead of his actual footballing skills.

I imagine they will move one of their other forwards, either Ji or Wickham or Graham.

I wouldn't be surprised to see all three move on. I'm happy with the move personally, lets hope jozy gets his chance and takes it.

I imagine Wickham will go on loan again. Ji is probably gone to the Bundesliga, though I imagine Sunderland will first look at their striker depth. Graham was another brilliant buy by O'Neill.

Should we expect him to get the nod in just about every game if healthy?

Jozy will get service from Larsson and Sessegnon. I am happy to be able to see him play on a frequent basis now. This is very positive.
Good pick on your club, st Augustine
