The topic at discussion is the Dark Knight Rises. If this topic were about Avengers, I'm sure people would post their gripes about it. However, like I said, Avengers doesn't try to be anything but a comic book movie (which I feel needs to be emphasized for some here) where as Nolan tried to make more out of Batman. In one interview with him, he even stated that they really tried to stay away from the comics. In my opinion doing this lead to some really big holes. However, I give much respect to Nolan for not using CGI. That alone makes me respect these films.

At the end of the day...

Nolan's Non Batman movies > Nolan's Batman movies.

Link? All 3 of his movies took plot elements straight from the comics.
