Stan Lee has mentioned Marvel is working on a Black Panther movie.

I'm a comic book/graphic novel fan, but this has to end at some point, right?
Over saturation is going to kill the genre in the movie medium.

It will end at some point but if you have something that makes lots of money, you do as much of it as you can until it stops making money.

Me as well, but it seems like the scripts and the execution are just getting better. I'm really looking forward to Ant Man coming out. The trailer looks badass. I suppose it will depend on the quality of the films produced much like any other genre besides the initial excitement of the new form.

maybe, but Hollywood is always short on ideas. Marvel's doing a pretty good job. This success allows other graphic novels to be picked up. Releasing two-three Marvel movies a year(Christmas, early Summer and late summer), IMO, is the best way to keep people coming back.
It doesn't always have to be Avengers movies. I also see them going deeper into sci-fi, and fantasy.
To me, the X-men franchise has become diluted, because Fox never took the time to develop anyone other than Xavier, Magneto and Logan. So they just keep pumping out the same film.

Edgar Wright on Antman
Rumors of Louis Leterrier on Black Panther
Wild concepts being developed for Dr Strange
I say keep the comic inspired movies coming if they're good.
I just wish Warner Brothers could expand successfully as Marvel has.

I understand what you mean but campy horror movies, cheesy action movies, romantic comedies, etc. are all still made regularly. It could get to a point where they're not making billions anymore but still bringing in good money to the studios.

Xmen and Spiderman are the one's that'll be worn out first since those studio's have to keep pumping them out or they lose the film rights.
Spiderman even more so than Xmen even. At least with Xmen you have a wide variety of characters to use.
Marvel can take their time with long breaks in between. Like WB does with Batman and Superman.

I'm wondering if Marvel will ever make non Avengers related movies. I'd like to see a new Blade and they have the rights to Daredevil and Punisher back.

I liked his Hulk movie, but I am a little taken back by this rumor.

I would think a Blade reboot is more of a certainty than any other as it made good money.
I'm always game for a Punisher movie although I think Marvel should take it to series with a premium cable channel.
Daredevil is a masterpiece waiting to happen. It's been one of the more critically acclaimed Marvel series over the last decade or so.

First Class did a very admirable job developing Beast and Mystique.

I read Marvel was planning on doing a Punisher tv show awhile back. I assumed it would have to be on ABC. Punisher and Blade would have to be R rated to be good and I don't know if Marvel Studios wants to put out something that violent.

DC and Marvel can probably pump out movies for a long time with out it getting old

I saw a longer trailer that had wasp and more...not sure if it was fan made or not, but it looked okay. Here's a similar one, if not the one I saw. Ant-Man

Definitely fan made.
It's got clips from batman begins, X-men first class, and several other films.

This one. I must have seen the real footage on youtube before it was pulled - but this is from the same footage I saw.

i agree, theyre making too many superhero movies. theyre ruining the magic. as someone to wants to work in Hollywood on superhero movies, theyre killing the genre

Only the bad ones. The good ones are surpassing it.
