Good Lord, I hate the show even more now than I did when I quit watching it.
I have only seen a couple of episodes (I don't have cable so caught it when I was traveling for work) but yeah it's hard core liberal slanted...that being said I really enjoyed the two I watched...I can separate my entertainment from my politics.

The reasons I listed for hating the show have nothing to do with politics. Yes, I mocked the show for its leftism, but the reasons I stated for hating the show are that it's pretentious, self-important, heavy handed, and as subtle as a fundamentalist preacher's sermons.
My nephew's redneck wife, who I guarantee you has an IQ in double digits, told me its her favorite show on TV. 'Nuff said.
