To be clear, I definitely don't think Holiday alone is going to account for 20+ more wins than last year. He'll be good for at least 5-10 more than Vasquez, though, IMO.

Yeah, we all should have reservations about that, but the potential for his impact when healthy is just too much to give up on now.

a healthy eric Gordon and an improved AD could. those are both hypotheticals currently though

My point is that a lot of things have to go right for us to be a playoff contender and a lot of things would have to go wrong for us to keep that top 5 pick, and I don't like that.

On paper, the trade is great. We got a proven player for an unproven guy with a bum knee and a nameless player who is in high school. But it could very easily put us in an mediocre position with not much room for change.
