What are the differences between the BDL, CDL, etc? The only obvious difference I can see are the shapes of the stock.

Remington 700 has many decades of that design being the benchmark for accuracy. And that new trigger they have on them is fricking awesome right out the box. You used to have to put a Timney or something in them. Not anymore. The only issue I have with them now, other than the boycott, is the synthetic stocks are just not strong enough out at the fore end so if you're using one of the new varmints and you're on a bag, they can flex up into the barrel.
That said, there are a LOT of fine rifles these days. The Savages, Tikka's etc have really upped their game significantly. For a 200 yrd rifle, any of them would be more than satisfactory.
