What the hell does this mean? Making money > missed cuts
reed's made over 600k so far this year and has status on the pga tour and is well on his way to locking up his card for next year. Peterson can win the web.com tournament this week and have none of those things

Well Reed doesn't win this week.
Posted on 6/27/13 at 4:25 pm to PhiTiger1764

Will do bro, hopefully soon they will be PGA Tour regs and we can talk about them winning!

I'd venture a guess Peterson is perfectly fine with his career thus far in comparison to Reed, and wouldn't trade places.
He knows it's just a matter of time until he has Tour status. He's played in three majors and made the cut in all of them while Reed is 0/0. Oh and he is better than Reed so that certainly bodes well for future earnings as well.

based on what?
shouldn't he on the pga tour if that were the case?

Idk. How about percentage of cuts made in PGA Tour events this season? This includes two majors that had better fields than any tourney Reed has played in

It's a process as I'm sure you know.

that's not really a good measure when a person has only played in 3 events versus someone who played in double digit events.
pga money list
fedex standings
tour status
world rankings
probably a better indication of who is having the better year
Posted on 6/27/13 at 4:51 pm to TigerPhan27
He's played in 6 events.
But not the better player.

oh and reed doesn't still go to bogies, so there is another huge advantage
Posted on 6/28/13 at 2:30 pm to mikeytig
Peterson tied for lead at -7 and Loupe is at -4. Both just started their second round.
Posted on 6/28/13 at 2:38 pm to TigerPhan27

Peterson has 2 birdies and a par to start his day. Takes lead! If the tournament finished now, Peterson would move into 9th on the Golf.com tour and would be eligible for the PGA tour next year.

Lee Janzen is playing the Web.com tour now?
Posted on 6/28/13 at 3:09 pm to LSUAlum2001
Yes? Not quite sure if that's actually a question
Posted on 6/28/13 at 3:13 pm to Ed Osteen
It's surprising.
Janzen was competing in events on the tour just a few short years ago.
