We did the interior Anchorage up to Denali via the Alaskan railroad on one trip and then hopped around the lower coast for another.

I'd recommend this too, but...most people think Ak is just too far off (When JNU or ANC are just a couple hours from Seattle by air)

You could spend 10 days on the Kenai or in SE and never be bored.

Alaska is definitely on my list, I think we will try and make that the destination next time.

Glacier is my #1 I wanna see out of these, and Baniff, from what I've heard, is incredible too.
Just hoping that my mom. sister, etc. will be able to enjoy the trip as well.

Oh, and what about pass ports? How long will that take to get? We do not have them, and we will need that head to Baniff.

I was on an Alaska cruise a couple weeks ago and want to go back already. My next trip will not be a cruise, because I hope to stay at a place or two on the water where I can focus on Salmon, Halibut with a few hiking/biking days too. Alaska is awesome.
