flying to San Fran, then going to Yosemite, which I hear is a tourist mecca, and Lake Tahoe. I've seen some mixed reviews on here about Lake Tahoe, but it's a place I've wanted to visit. Possibly some other stuff to do around here, being it's a busy area.
I have done SF with a Tahoe cabin trip and SF with a Yosemite camping trip, both in the summer. We did hiking, biking, kayaking and trout fishing in Tahoe. We stayed in a private cabin on the Truckee R. I loved it all and it is a great place.
I loved hiking the mountains/trails in Yosemite but made a mistake on the camping. We stayed at a rental tent in "Curry Village" thinking it would be nice and secluded and it was set up with white tents in rows four feet apart. Find a better place to camp with your own tent. The biggest deer Ive ever seen was at Yosemite, awesome views and waterfalls and mountain lakes/pools for swimming during the hike.
Note: I'm from New Orleans so almost any mountains impress me; sometimes even high hills.
No comment on the two other trips only because I have never been there.
