Michael Williams clearly a hand on the ball and is down by contact.

Haha... there is no such thing as down by contact in college football.

There is still no down by contact rule in college football. And why did you leave off the other parts in the rule book? B/C it ultimately proved you wrong? In the same section: "c. A catch by any kneeling or prone inbounds player is a completion or interception"

And I am not trying to hijack this thread so...

Why is anyone discussing this play in this fantastic thread? (No sarcasm, this is a great thread).

This is a meaningless play from a game that essentially didn't count.

Move on to something else.
