Oh wait, it's me "just bitching about ESPN" so you don't have to entertain the notion? Answer the fricking question!

The reason this whole fricking thing changed was because of a 21-14 national championship game. TELL ME IM WRONG. You think ESPN wants a championship game that ends at 3 AM Eastern?

Bats changed because pitchers couldn't defend themselves. Not for TV.

Yes. You think they don't? Do you realize how much more they could sell commercials for compared to rerunning the 11 PM SportsCenter for the 4 time in a row?

yes, because you are blinded by hatred. no one disputes that TV is the tail that wags the dogs in a lot of cases, but considering the 21-14 game was in 1997 and they didn't change the bats until 2011, no it wasn't to avoid 3AM end times.
