It may not have been the sole cause, but it certainly exacerbated the issue and definitely decreased the likelihood of survival in the crash. To imply that a high rate of speed had nothing to do with the situation is kind of disingenuous.

but to also imply that going slower would've saved him is the same, if you think you can't get killed going 35 then you're being naive...my only point

like you said, i don't believe it was the sole cause
