I don't really blame you. Bayern can win another treble without Suarez, and Shaq is a bit of a cult figure among the Bayern faithful from what I can tell.

Not sure
I understand Beasts position and I think he's right. However, none of us have defended his diving. We defend the tenacity in which he plays, which everyone wets their tampons over since they want a starting 11 consisting of Mr. Rogers, Jesus, and 9 Dora the Explorers.

Liverpool value Suarez at over £40m and will accept a fee of around £25m plus young attacker Shaqiri for their top-scorer, an offer that Bayern Munich may well be amenable to.
I'd prefer that over Higuain + cash

I think Gotze and Thiago make Shaqiri expendable...
Suarez would be the perfect false 9 for Guardiola's system... That said, I really don't know what he is trying to do at Bayern... is he planning on sticking with the 4-2-3-1? or going with his 4-3-3 (3-4-3... Martinez is the perfect DM/CB to make this fluid without changing personnel)?

A lot of people think it's gonna be a 4-1-4-1
Thiago isn't really a player that changes Shaq's status. Thiago is more of an eventual Schweinsteiger replacement to play alongside Kroos.

Thiago plays deeper than Shaq. I don't really see that affecting his minutes much.

I meant it in the sense that it would allow Gotze & Mueller to play in wider roles...

Well you know Pep's thinking...no such thing as too many midfielders...

Just curious why you bought Eriksen and Bernard but didn't replace Kolo or Enrique? Seems odd.
Those additions were made first and I wanted it to be as close as I could to a possible squad that will play this upcoming season.

Looks like a fun team to play FIFA with. Would get crushed IRL though
I said as much but would it really be crushed if we were to have the possession that BR desires?

Yes. That midfield would be destroyed in the Prem. They would have a tough time winning the ball, much less keeping it. Who is going to do the running? Who will put in the defensive dirty work? Gerrard surely won't, and CE hasn't even played a single match in England yet. You mark Gerrard and the match has been won.
Even the best possession teams in the world have an anchor in the midfield. Someone to win the ball and link the defense to the midfield.

Oh I know, I was just being facetious.
Sarcasm is not easily conveyed over the interwebz

Okay with you saying ^^this^^, would you rather take?
Gustavo + € or Shaq + € for Suárez?

Undoubtedly Shaq. The only reason I would prefer Gustavo over him is if Suarez were staying. Seeing how it would be a player + cash swap, however, I would rather goals. If we lose Suarez we will be forced to buy another attacker. Shaq is about as good as we could realistically hope for right now, though I doubt we even have a shot at him.

Looks like the Spanish guys (with Cou in tow) are settling in nicely.

Who is on the left of Aspas?

My favorite is the skeezer in the white shirt eyeing up Coutinho while his wife smiles for the camera.

i'm not sure where to post this. since he is a former 'Pool man, I'll just leave this here
i'm pretty sure I've had that exact same look on my face before stumbling out of F&M's at 5:00 in the morning.

Andy does realize that he makes $160,000 a week and that he doesn't have to settle for stragglers at 2am, right?

No idea, I asked the same thing when I saw it posted. Can't be Enrique.
