City fan new to the site
Not a lot of activity here huh?

There's a handful of City fans that post here but they don't really seem to post day to day discussions like in some of the other threads.

I don't watch all that much English football but I do tend to watch Man City fairly often because my girlfriend likes them, or mainly David Silva I discern.

The odd thing about Man City so far this year is that for all the grief Mancini got the team looks like it has exactly the same issues so far under Pellegrini.

Fantastic home form but usually looking poor away against much less talented sides.

Having trouble creating/finishing chances for long stretches considering the number of super star attacking players they carry.

Still not getting consistent play from holding mid even if Fernandinho is the most effective they've had at least since De Jong.

Edin still being Dzeko and Hyde.

Aguero not looking like he's certain of his position when Dzeko plays.

Joe Hart not being all that great.

I think Pellegrini's a better manager than Mancini (even if his formation against Bayern seemed ridiculous) but how the roster actually fits together may have been a bigger issue for them than a lot of people thought?

I see I see..hopefully they'll come out for a lil discussion

Personally, I love Pellegrini way more than Mancini. I think the players respect him a lot more.

The summer acquisitions were a big boost. Navas adds a dimension we were missing last year. Negredo has started well.

The thing that disappoints me right now is the defense. Not in sync all the time esp. with Kompany out. They put Hart in a lot of bad spots. Don't get me wrong though...Hart has had a horrible start. He looks like he lacks confidence. Hopefully that improves..

I really just want to see some Champions League success. I think Pellegrini can take us there.

The BPL looks like a three horse race between City Arsenal and Chelsea IMO
