Yeh but we're getting relegated so much harder than you all that ours is more valid.

Supposedly, Moyes hope to have "a bit of business done" by Monday.

Who the frick talks like this? Where did you learn to talk like this? Do you talk like this in person or is this just your internet persona?

Guiz I heard Pulis is still looking for a job..

Losing out on Thiago sucks. We need to land someone and it's beginning to look like we'll have to settle rather than getting one of our top choices.

SUPPOSEDLY, Moyes has an unlimited transfer budget. Loadsa Moyney
He also stated he hopes to have a bit of business done by tomorrow. Do I think it'll be someone HUGE like Ronaldo or Bale? Nope, but I am curious.
Also, here's this for your viewing pleasure. He really reminds me of younger Ronaldo.

In what way? The stepovers?
I can assure you a 20 year old Cristiano would have scored more than 8 goals in the championship.

Eh....
I've always thought of him a bit overrated. He's a good player, but he's no second coming. Although I think of everyone as overrated, so carry on with the conversation as if I didn't say anything.

His flair and creativity 1v1.
i agree he isn't the second coming, that's not even what i was implying.
liverpool fans are not fans of zaha. noted.

Cristiano isn't too creative in all honesty
Posted on 7/14/13 at 11:53 pm to PTBob
He's gonna have to step up in a big way, because we paid waaaaaay too much for him.
Posted on 7/14/13 at 11:56 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
well i guess that's just like your opinion man.
LINK It's a video that i'm sure everyone on this board has seen.
He relies on his athletic ability (superior strength, speed, and agility) to pull off many of the moves. But when he does a bit of skill, and immediately follows it up with another, which a defender was not expecting, that's creativity in my book.

Ah, creative dribbling you meant. Didn't realize that's what you meant
Posted on 7/15/13 at 12:00 am to LSUSOBEAST1
Ah yeh. That's what I meant. Not sure if his skill sequence is pre-determined (to a degree), or reactionary.. but i've always enjoyed it.
Posted on 7/15/13 at 12:09 am to PTBob
It's almost entirely pre-determined for the world class players. After perfecting a skill sequence, they apply it to training. Once a player begins to mature and pick up defensive tendencies, he applies the skill in matches. Players like Ronaldo have a memory bank of situations where certain skills work. Depending on where a player's eyes are, how his shoulders are turned/positioned, the distance between his legs, whether he is running at you, away from you or strafing, etc all trigger a specific dribbling sequence.
Pretty basic video of Aguero demonstrating how he does his signature move
His fake shot is absolutely incredible
