I also saw the #AskArsene Q&A on Twitter this morning where the boss talked about that deep lying midfield role being Wilshere's best position.
Given that fact, wouldn't it seem that our best 11 with everyone healthy and available be the following?
Szczesny
Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs
Flamini, Ramsey
Walcott, Ozil, Cazorla
Giroud
Subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Monreal, Wilshere, Podolski, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain
This is why I'm still not too bummed after our result at United. When we get Theo and Podli back for the next game and (hopefully) have more depth going into the month of January, I'm still very excited about the potential of the team and what we can achieve this year.
If we strengthen in December by adding a quality striker, which is all I think we really need, we do have as good a chance as anyone else to win the Premier League title.
The fact that we only lost 1-0 at Old Trafford while only conceding from a set piece and all of the squad selection setbacks we had for the game just shows how much better we are than United with a full-strength squad. Payback will be a b*tch at The Emirates in February!
When you also consider that our next four games in the league after the international break are Southampton (H), Cardiff (A), Hull City (H) and Everton (H), it's a period we really need to take advantage of and rack up some points heading into the back-to-back weekends of Manchester City (A) and Chelsea (H) before Christmas.
We can do this!

seems as though you've misplaced Arteta (who i'd put above Flamini).
besides that, i feel the same.
