Just because you hit fly balls dose not mean you are trying to hit home runs
Also pitchers use more than velocity to fool hitters.

It's said that hitting a baseball is the most difficult skill in all sports; not surprisingly, giving hitting instruction is also one of the most difficult skills a coach has to learn--was JAVI know as a great hitter. Teaching baseball hitting is difficult because it's
both mental and technical. Not to mention the quality of pitching we are sure to face during the post season.
Unfortunately we didn't have the mental part under control
for the last 2 games. What bothers me the most is that our
Kids were not skilled at all taking the pitch the other way.
I blame JAVI for that. And with 2 strikes we are still swinging
for the fences-- that's not going to work.
