Think about every attempt to look "futuristic" and then what a joke it looked like 10 years later.
Everything that was designed to look futuristic in the 90s looked like a joke in the 00s.
Everything that was designed to look futuristic in the 80s looked like a joke in the 90s.
And so on, all the way back to probably the 20s.
This is gonna be retarded by 2025.

I think a lot (the majority) of attempts to look futuristic fail, but some do quite nicely.
In the 1920's the whole art deco movement was designed to look futuristic and things like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building are still fantastic.
The Air Force chapel built in the 1960's still looks cool, as does the Guggenheim museum in NYC.
Hearst Tower in NYC is an amazing building and there are lots of other buildings that are in the structural expressionist/postmodern style that are great.
So while this may fail, I think there is a chance it will look amazing.
