Any company that looks into the local govt of the area they are wanting to locate would laugh all the way back to Connecticut at the tomfoolery that is going on in Monroe.
ETA: the old GM plant is outside Monroe city limits but still.

Toured the old Delphi plant while attending tech. It is nice and roomy inside. I thought Monroe's city limit had been extended Josey or was that just far enough out to keep Ouachita school in the city limits.
