Elaborate

Andy Roddick who is a great grass court player, wasn't a great mover. The important thing on grass is serve, and hitting through the court, because it is going to be fast points. You don't have the time to move like you have in clay. Thus good movement is a little less important. Obviously been able to move great is an asset, but serving is more important. Delpo's forehand finishes many points fast. I think he can beat Djokovic. And he did beat the Djoker, not only in the Olympics, but this year in Indian Wells at the semis.

I hope Andy wins it, the british press has always been brutal on him. Delpo winning it would be great too.

Okay, that makes some sense. Being able to move better than the other guy is always an advantage but somewhat de-emphasized on grass.

Delpo, when on his game, is an insanely good hard court player. Whenever he goes beast mode on that forehand, just forget about it.

Couple lines I'm considering:

Kudla+180
Tomic-200
Dolgo-300
Raonic-225
Grigor-600

And Delpo has been beastie with his forehand this year. Djokovic is starting to doubt, which is his down fall- his flaw. He believed in the magic of gluten free and was invincible for a while, but now he is starting to doubt. He though he would will himself a French crown, and in the critical moments he melted down. Falling on a net? Wow, I don't see this at my level in my club.

You have a serious mental breakdown when you lose a match on a love break, specially a match you wanted more than anything. That is a flaw.

I never cared much for Murray until after he lost in the final last year. I still don't much care for his game, but he seems like a decent individual.

But we're talking about Rafael Nadal on clay. I mean, if I take Anna Kournikova out for dinner, and then we grab some drinks, and I walk her back to my place and she says she needs to head home but I convince to hang out and watch a movie in my apartment, and then I rub on the furry beaver a little bit, and then we head back to my room where SURELY I'm gonna get some ballsdeepage.....but then she changes her mind right at justthetippage, grabs her purse, and walks herself out to the car.

I mean, yeah I'm bummed if that happens, but I still just almost banged Anna Kournikova. My confidence level will still be quite high moving forward.

Bernard Tomic is a good damn tennis player. He could potentially win a GS. He's that good, imo.

The fact that James Blake was once ranked in the top 5 with that abomination of a backhand, is just mindblowing.

And I like Blake. He's a good guy, and I've always rooted for him, but that backhand is difficult to watch.

Serena cruised. No surprise there.

The first set was quite close (went to tie-break), but Kei Nishikori managed to win it.

Blake is awful. Worst court management of a player at his level i've ever seen.

Court management can become problematic when one needs to stand in the left doulbes alley because one cannot hit a backhand to save one's own soul.

Nishikori won each set more easily than the one before and wins in straight sets.

Radwanska looking comfortable early in her match.

Play has been paused in the Radwanska match. She won the first set easily and is up in the second set.
