When have you ever heard of someone leaving the ball up as a strategy? Orel said that during the game and it makes no sense.

Ah, this about sums up your knowledge of the game. Plutko's game plan was most DEFINITELY to throw high fastballs. He has done it all year long. Why don't you go read PM's post game quotes. Although, we've already established that you don't like to read much.

When you play in a huge park during the dead bat era.

It was disgusting watching the pitcher leave fastballs hanging in the zone for our batters to crush and him be rewarded with an out. You know something needs to change when intentionally throwing high fast balls is not only a strategy, but an effective one.
