CPM was out-coached in this game. UCLA had a game plan, we did exactly what they expected us to do.

Their game plan worked on our batters - we are always aggressive at the plate and tend to pop up. Knowing that, they threw high fast ball after high fast ball and we never adjusted. We seemed to swing at nearly every one.

Their game plan worked on our fielding - the pressure they placed caused a couple errors.

Their game plan work on our pitching - they know Nola throws a first pitch strike so they allowed their lead-off man to swing at it and got a few of lead-off hits.

They're a dangerous team with lead-off man onboard and we allowed it nearly every inning.

When have you ever heard of someone leaving the ball up as a strategy? Orel said that during the game and it makes no sense.

It's comical to see the 2nd guessing that goes on here. LSU has one of the best records in the history of the program but PM can't coach.

PM took a chance with a Sr. batting over .300.
RR hits that ball anywhere other than where he did and MK should be sitting on 2nd at the least.

UCLA did the little things, LSU did not.
Still it took Bregman booting an easy out (for a college SS) for UCLA to get the win. The error by Ross was a much tougher play.

It's baseball. Now LSU just has to suck it up and rebound.
