the thing about technology is this Hog,
the moment you are content with one technology, you have already fallen behind.
the people like the guy above who says "gamers are spoiled nowadays" are fools.
Doing away with the middlemen of used games is the next step.
it's not if, it's when. with every technology.
by the time the average consumer dreams of the idea, it's already being beta tested by some development company

I have never seen a tech company lose by being the first to get there as long as the product is good.
If the product is as good as what is in the OP/Steam and Xbox is the first to get there then by the end of this gens life cycle MS should be printing money off of the One.

And we discussed this in the other thread, I don't think anyone gives a shite about GameStop.
GameFly and Red Box on the other hand is a completely different story because as I said, 70% of games just aren't worth $60.
GameFly/Red Box have to develop some sort of Netflix type digital rental service within a few years as it gradually goes more digital.
