If this gen lasts 8 years like the current one there is no way they aren't 99.9% all digital by the end of it. Internet speeds will only get faster and service more and more people.

4G can support gaming if it wasn't for bandwidth caps.

I said the other day the One is a bridge to the next console of where they are going but that doesn't mean they won't have it all in place by the end of this console to make a smooth transition into the next one.
