Is that supposed to be a surprise or what?

PS3 already has Day 1 Digital downloads for big titles available to DL at midnight like Far Cry 3, AC3, and all EA Sports titles were.

PS3 with a PS+ subscription already uses the cloud to check and download system and game updates even when the console is off.

PS3 already allows you to download a game and play it while it downloads (TLOU debuts this tonight).

I guess MS is catching up?

Steam is a lot more than that and you know it but you won't admit it because it bothers you that Xbox is trying to get a sysetm just like Steam onto console first.

PS4 will never be Steam like as long as they allow physical copies and the trade in market to hang around and artificially keep game prices high.

It also sounds like MS will be subsidizing publishers and devs to make this happen because they know the value of getting there 100% first and not having some people still on physcial copies and some still on digital. Sony doesn't have the financial luxury to do this and have now made too much of a promise to the world to go back in a few years and say we are going strictly Steam like.
