Get over yourself, dude. It isn't important for another person to agree with you about how great this country is. It is important, however, for that person to raise his children, pay his taxes, and stay crime-free.

When it comes to matters that are important, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf is a model citizen.
When it comes to TMZ stuff, Mahmoud can be disagreeable.

So when you say that Mahmoud is a piece of shite, it's obvious what's important to you. I love patriots like you.

Important, yes, but you keep bringing these things up like they're some pious virtues rarely obtained by mere mortals. It ain't that hard or unusual or praiseworthy to do these things.

So we are supposed to respect this guy for doing shite he's supposed to do anyway? OK.

I don't expect everybody to be overly patriotic. That's fine.

Standing for the playing of the anthem doesn't have a damn thing to do with the current government and a lot more to do with those who fought for this country IMO.
