I don't even care if he's successful. This is a horrible hire. When you river ride a flush in poker, you still made the wrong call. Hiring a player who retired two weeks ago is the wrong call.

He's either going to flame out quickly or be very successful. That's typical Kidd, though, he threw every coach he ever had under the bus, save Carlisle. Hopefully he gets the same treatment from his players now.
