We will have 2 freshman qb's and rivers next year so why do we have to take one this year? trust me it's not a necessity

What if they never develop or get better? What if one or two gets hurt? What if one transferred. The only way to even try to protect yourself from any of those three is by getting quantity.

Trust me you are being exteremely short sighted and would probably be one of the first to complain come 2015/16 if the QB situation is bad.

that's been the case of the last 6 years and we did pretty good so i'm hoping out of 3 qb's that 1 end up being pretty decent.

If had a good QB we would probably have at least 1 if not 2 more National Titles. You seem to be only looking at 2014, recruiting is looking 2-3 years down the road. You are just assuming all 3 will stay their entire eligibilty when it is far more likely that they do not. By 2015 it is way more likely at least 1 is gone and by 2016 at least 2 of those 3 will probably be gone. Then what? You need a QB in 2014, another in 2015 and another in 2016 etc. It will shake itself out.
